Press Release Summary: Iberotel deploys Check Safety First E-Cristal risk management system throughout Egyptian and UAE hotels.
Press Release Body: Iberotel Hotels & Resorts, a wholly owned subsidiary of TUI, is deploying Check Safety First's E-Cristal hygiene, health and safety risk management system throughout all of its Egyptian and United Arab Emirates hotels.
Check Safety First beat off four competitors to secure the rolling six figure per annum contract with the hotel chain. Iberotel hotels will use the E-Cristal online audit system, to receive real-time access to reports and clear guidance on those areas of the resort that require further attention. The range of services provided will include general safety, legionella control, as well as the central food hygiene product.
"TUI is a massive player in the travel industry, and it is great to see that through Iberotel it is setting an example to others by taking proactive steps to protect the general wellbeing of the travelling public," comments Mark Harrington, CEO at Check Safety First.
Harrington continues: "It is imperative, at this time of economic uncertainty that travel agents and tour operators offer consumers something extra for their money, and providing this peace of mind is priceless. Through E-Cristal, Iberotel hotels will be able to ensure it meets and exceeds both national and international legislative requirements for health and safety."
The E-Cristal system will provide Iberotel with a template for health and safety processes and centralise their management to present a chain-wide view of standards. The system will be supported by monthly, unannounced, audits and advice to ensure hotels are compliant with the Cristal Mark, Check Safety First's standard for health and safety developed in accordance with World Health Organisation guidelines.
